The Patterntity Kaleidohome

Launched during London Design Festival 2014, the Kaleidohome was a four-metre-long kaleidoscope manifested for one very special purpose: so the public could put themselves at the centre of their own personal pattern. Mirrors and optical illusions turned a single moment of curiosity into a meditation on personal identity and belonging.

Working with the ‘Conscious Creative Organisation’ Patternity. Say Fromage helped create a photographic experience that captured the interactions of the public with the giant kaleidoscope, providing a video to download and a physical print to take away.
Placed in London’s busy Trafalgar Square for Airbnb, the Kaleidohome was visited by hundreds of people from around the world. A large screen on the side of the home displayed a slideshow of the interactions.
